What are your breakfast options?: We do a Continental breakfast only, unless there is a group of 20 or more persons.
Usually we advise people staying at the hotel to eat at the café across the road as it serves fabulous breakfasts from about 8:45 am until lunch or the bakery café opens at 7:30 am.
What transport is available to get around?: The Augusta Hotel is in the centre of town and you can walk to everything including the river. Travel by bus to major towns is possible daily and a taxi service is available.
What can I do nearby?: As for entertainment, the hotel puts on live bands in the summer months. There are numerous attractions including Whale Cruises, caving, fishing, beach going, river boat rides, Leeuwin lighthouse and visitor centre, where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean and the Blackwood River enters the sea, numerous wineries, the start or finish of the Cape to Cape walk.
