Situated right on the Tasman Sea, the timber bungalows that make up Bicheno by the Bay lend themselves perfectly to a family holiday or an overnight stay. Spacious and well equipped, the pine lined bungalows each offer separate bedrooms, bathroom, loungeroom, kitchen and balcony. There is a covered carport alongside each unit. Set on 2 ha of open bushland, each bungalow has its own privacy and unique view of either the ocean or the bush. On the property is a heated swimming pool, tennis court, playground, childrens' canoe lake, and fire pit. Less than 3 minutes walk into the town centre, the property is also adjacent to one of Bicheno's features - the Foreshore Walking Track between the Blowhole and the Gulch. You can hear the ocean from each unit! You are also only a five minute walk to swimming beaches and other attractions. In addition to the self contained bungalows, opening soon are four brand new motel units, overlooking the canoe lake, with a great deck from which to take in the unique scenery and ambience. Choose from a one bedroom unit for couples, or a two, three or four bedroom unit for families and groups.

What are your breakfast options?: We do not serve breakfast here. There are several cafes within 3 minutes walk that serve breakfast.
What transport is available to get around?: There is no public transport in Bicheno. There are few buses travelling between Launceston, Bicheno and Hobart.
What can I do nearby?: Within walking distance from here is the Blowhole, Whalers Lookout, the town centre, and the town beach. Within a 15 minute drive is East Coast Natureworld and Douglas Apsley National Park, and the Dennison Beach. Within a half hours drive is Freycinet National park, several wineries, and the township of Swansea.
Do you have internet?: We have wireless internet on the property, most rooms can receive this, but because it is a large property, some rooms do not. It costs $7.50 per half hour or $10 per hour.
Do you provide parking?: Parking is available alongside each bungalow, there's no charge.
