There was 8 of us staying on a Saturday night & we thought the service we received was excellent. The girls at reception were friendly & helpful with what to see & where to go for dinner. Thank you for making our weekend away an enjoyable experience. Kind regards.Date of Stay: May 2009
I have just returned from a wonderful six nights @ the 353 in Little Collins St. The rooms are modern, the location is extremely central and the price was fantastic through this website. I have an 8 month old baby and the friendly staff made sure a cot was in our room on arrival. The Continental breakfast in the well laid out dining room is more than adequate with plenty of variety and is a great way to start the day. I would highly recommend it to all types of travellers as I found it hard to fault and I've stayed all over the world.Date of Stay: June 2009
If you are looking for a standard room to sleep during your stay in Melbourne and want to be central to everything, then this hotel is appropriate. however if you want to do anything but sleep here then perhaps this isnt the place for you. the service staff are great, very friendly and happy to offer suggestions if you dont really know where to go for dinner or a few cocktails. the rooms were very smart, and cosy. cosy in that they were small. I had a Delux King room and it had the King bed, a side table, table for the TV, which is also meant for your desk, however not alot of room to work with. the main downfall is that it doesnt offer what it promises. in the lift it says Level 2- Bar, restauant & dining... when we exit on level 2, it is really only a cafateria room, bit like a lunch room at a workplace, only open for breakfast. no bar. the big flat screen TV is impressive, however it has the standard free to air channels, national geo channel, and one other no so impressive foxtel channel. I called about the movies which the inroom booklet states (as well as this website) and was advised they dont have movies. very disappointing, seeings even the most basic hotels have foxtel and/ or movies. overall my experience was good, but a few minor changes could have made my stay better.Date of Stay: February 2009
