The hotel is located in the heart of Sydney within walking distance to all major attractions.

All rooms contain a kitchenette (including microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery & crokery) which allows an element of self-catering. A limited number of Deluxe Studios and all the 2 bedroom apartments also offer a cook-top and oven and are perfect for longer stays. For comfort, friendliness and location, the Hyde Park Inn is the perfect place to stay in Sydney. We are also pleased to include car parking (please see below for more details), continental breakfast, newspapers and in house movies in all the rates.

During busy periods we may need to re-direct you to a nearby public car park - only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. A complimentary pre-paid voucher (valid for unlimited entries & exits) will be supplied if this arrangement is necessary. More information will provided at time of check-in.

What are your breakfast options?: We do not have a dining room for breakfast. The complimentary light Continental breakfast consists of 2 slices of bread for toast, 1 small packet of cereal, 1 (110ml) orange juice, 1 (300ml) milk, and 1 pre-packaged fruit snack cup, toppings for bread (selection of strawberry jam, peanut butter, marmalade, honey, and vegemite).
What transport is available to get around?: You can catch the train from airport to Museum Station, which is close from the hotel. From the train station it will take you approximately 2 to 3 minutes to walk to the hotel. The cost for the train is approximately AUD$15.00 per person one-way trip.

There is also the airport shuttle bus. The cost for the airport shuttle bus is approximately AUD$14.00 per person one-way trip. http://www.airportconnect.com.au/

A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel will cost between AUD$35 - AUD$45 dollars, and it will take approximately 30 - 40 minutes in a taxi.
As a family, what are the best things to do?: There are several museums, galleries, cinemas and shopping centres around the hotel, which could be good places for a family to go. The largest zoo in Sydney is just across the harbour. The Sydney Aquarium is within 15 minutes' walking distance.
Do you have internet?: The internet access in the room will be charged AUD$11.00 for 1 hour or AUD$22.00 for 24 hours.
Do you provide parking?: Car parking is complimentary for one car, however must be requested when making a reservation as we have limited on-site parking. We offer complimentary offsite parking at Wilson's parking located one block from the hotel if the hotel car park is fully booked.
