The Mantra PortSea is within a short walk to the shops on Macrossan Street. Four Mile Beach and Marina Mirage are also within a few blocks away from the hotel. Daintree Rainforest and access to the Great Barrier Reef are less than thirty minutes' drive away by car. Many cafes, famous pubs, shops and restaurants are in the area surrounding the hotel. The airport is an hour car drive away from the Mantra PortSea. Hotel staff can arrange transportation via shuttle service or taxi by request.

What are your breakfast options?: We have a breakfast room on-site at the Resort. Every morning between 7:00am-9:00am, a Continental Buffet Breakfast is served for $14.00 per person with children under 12 years being free. This breakfast includes cereal, breads, croissants, Danishes, muffins, fruit salad, yogurts, ham, cheese, tea, coffee and fruit juice. Nearly all of our rates will include a Continental buffet breakfast for all guests staying in the room.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a local shuttle bus that runs throughout Port Douglas, which passes by the property every 15-20 minutes’. This will cost you $3 per person or $5 return. Taxis from the resort to the Main Street (Maccrosan Street) will be $8 each way. We work with the shuttle bus company Sunpalm Transport for airport transfers.
What can I do nearby?: Mantra Portsea Resorts has 3 swimming pools; the first is our largest pool, the Lagoon Pool that snakes its way throughout the Resort. The second is a 20m Lap Pool and the third is a Plunge Pool. We also have tennis courts with rackets and balls available for hire for $5. We also have 3 BBQ areas available for use by all the guests at the Resort. Every Sunday, the Port Douglas Markets are held in Anzac Park at the end of our main street, Maccrossan Street. There are many different tours available to you in the Port Douglas region.
Do you have internet?: Wireless internet is available throughout all rooms within the Resort. This can be purchased with your credit card.
