Where can we dine?

When it comes to food and wine Hamilton Island has almost as many dining options as you’d expect to find on the mainland, from gourmet pizza’s by the marina to a long lunch at Sails Restaurant. Or for something more casual select from a range of takeaway outlets and bars.

Have you renovated recently?

Reef View Hotel was fully refurbished in 2008 – consisted of refurbishing all rooms and facilities.

What transport is available to get around?

We offer Unlimited use of the scheduled ‘Island Shuttle’ service (7:00am-11:00pm daily). Hamilton Island is a refreshingly car-free destination, free from the traffic and congestion of city life. Golf buggies are the main form of transport and something of an icon on Hamilton Island.

What can I do nearby?

You’ll be spoiled for choice with enough activities on Hamilton Island to keep you entertained for weeks on end, including snorkeling the reef, sea kayaking and scenic helicopter flights. Or perhaps you’d prefer to do nothing at all and simply lay around one of six pools or on stunning Catseye Beach.

Reef View Hotel rooms are spacious and well appointed, with a furnished balcony, internet access and bathroom with separate bath and shower. Garden View rooms have leafy views and ocean glimpses, while each Coral Sea View room has spectacular views over Catseye Bay and nearby Whitsunday Island. The Reef View Hotel has its own 35-metre swimming pool and Catseye Beach is located directly opposite the hotel, only a two-minute stroll away.
