This motel is 4 mins from town which is great. Bed comfortable and clean. Bathroom facilities good. We had a few cobwebs hanging around the place and daddy long legs in both bathroom and living area. Curtain beside bed didn’t close properly. Light blown in kitchen and tv we had no connection. If theses were all fixed would be a higher rating.

Old and tired. Frayed towels old bed covers. Very poor lighting and TV range. Power cut out twice have to find owners to turn it back on and not yet winter. Great view of glacier and couple running it friendly and trying hard.

It's a shame that nothing was good at all at this accomodation, one of the lowest quality ones we've ever had (and we've widely-travelled to places in Southeast Asia and Africa). Beds were uncomfortable, rooms triggered our allergies, appliances were old, and there was no daily housekeeping for all 3 days we stayed there. The only nice thing were the 2 friendly ponies in the field on the property.

Has the basic amenities, but is somewhat dated and could do with an upgrade Location is 30 mins nice flat walk to town. Lady at reception was helpful. Rooms and bathroom were clean as you would expect.

Given the price paid this can’t be truly described as “value for money”. Just kinda of expensive for a property showing its age (and not gracefully at that). It is well out of town and across a long bridge with no walkway. It was well equipped with dishes, cutlery, hot plate etc. It was clean. However, with windows closed (keeping the West Coast sandflies at bay!) it smelt musty- not normally an issue for me but was on this occasion. The tv didn’t work due to a storm the night before- fair enough, no shortage of that around here. Nor the internet. The shower stall drain was plugged so only a short shower to be had. The one staff member we met was very friendly and courteous.
