What are your breakfast options?

The Sheraton on the Park hotel offers an extensive buffet from 6:30am till 10:30am, costing $35.00 for Continental breakfast per person or $42.00 for full buffet per person.

What transport is available to get around?

A Sedan limousine can be arranged at a cost of $110.00 AUD from the International or Domestic Airports to Sheraton on the Park and $100.00 AUD returning from Sheraton on the Park to the International or Domestic Airports. This charge can be placed onto your room account.

For small groups (4 - 8 passengers) a Mercedez Limo Cruiser can be arranged for $165.00 AUD from the International or Domestic Airports to the hotel and $155.00 AUD from the hotel to the International or Domestic Airports (approximately 30 minutes travelling time required).

An alternative to a limousine are taxis which can be hired from the designated taxi rank outside the terminal doors. All taxi fares should be paid to the taxi driver directly (Credit cards accepted). The fare is approximately $50.00 AUD (approximately 40 minutes travelling time required).

There is also the option of an airport shuttle service which can be sourced at the tour desk in the arrival terminal of the airport at a cost of $16.00 AUD per person each way or $24.00 AUD return, alternatevely tickets can be purchased directly through the driver. Tickets may also be booked online via http://www.airportconnect.com.au for $20.00 AUD return, just print out the confirmation slip and show it to the driver (approximately 60 minutes travelling time required, buses leave once filled or every 20 minutes).

The last option is the public train system which has a service from directly beneath the airport to St. James train station (approximately 300 meters from the Sheraton on the Park). You will however need to carry your own luggage up approximately 40 stairs. The train costs $15.80 per person each way or $26.60 AUD return. Tickets can be purchased at the train station.

What can I do nearby?

There are many restaurants and cafes in the area that offer breakfast, most do not require bookings. One of the nicest is “Bambin Trusti”, located a short 2 minute walk from the hotel.

The Sheraton on the Park is located in the heart of the city, a short 15 minute walk to Circular Quay where you may see the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, visit the Rocks Markets every Saturday and Sunday, catch a ferry to one of the many beautiful suburbs dotted along the harbour. Darling Harbour is located a short 10 minute walk from the hotel where there are great restaurants, bars and clubs. In the same area you may wish to visit the Sydney Aquarium and Sydney Wildlife world (http://www.sydneyaquarium.com.au). To travel around the city visitors will tend to walk as everything is a short distance, you may wish to catch one of our public buses, with over 130 bus routes to the suburbs and varoius beaches. Train services are available from to city to the outer suburbs of Sydney and last but not least ferries will service the waterways and the suburbs situated on our glorious harbour. Fare vary on price as the service that you wish to use and length of travel. www.131500.com There is a free city shuttle that circum navigates aroung the Central Buisness District ever 15 minutes from 9.00am to 6.00 7 days a week, this is a fabulous service if you wish just to head up town.

Do you have internet?

The hotel has internet in all the rooms via a LAN (Local Area Network) cable at a cost of $24.95 for 24 hours use; alternatively, we do have complimentary Wi-Fi available in the foyer of the hotel.

Do you provide parking?

The hotel has an extensive carpark that guest who stay at the Sheraton may use, cost is $49.00 full valet parking per day or $40.00 self parking per day. As any large international city there is no free parking on the streets in the city and there is very little metered parking (usual cost is $6.00 per hour), these meters a very heavily restricted in the amount of time that you permitted to park in and are constantly petrolled by parking police.
