About Bitola, North Macedonia

Bordered by the thick forests of Pelister National Park, Bitola is one of Macedonia’s most enchanting cities. It sits at 660 metres above sea level and was once an important base for the Ottoman Empire. Today, its legacy lives on in the form of elegant buildings, historic ruins and a lively cafe culture.
