LikedRomantic no, to many kids and lots of unusual Bird noises. But as friends that have been to lots of places to snorkel it's great, wonderful to be able to walk around the island and see the divercerty.
DislikedThe menu needs improvement, or a new chef, the food? for me it was OK,but for my overseas visitor it was very disappointing (rough), the Croissants were under baked, and only one Jam and a marmalade,

LikedThe Heron Island resort is a great destination for families to learn and discover. The facilities are laid out very well, however I dont believe they are being utilised to their full potential. I knew in advance we weren’t attending heron for the food, but it was grossly overpriced for the frozen meals we were served. I appreciate resources are limited, however with some thought the food could be improved. The service staff were good but I didn’t feel like they were a team.

LikedBreakfast was fine. Good selection and nice setting.
DislikedWifi was a little dodgy when not around the reception area. Students from research facility(around 50) every morning when snorkeling in channel. Also students drinking on inflatable tubes at jetty and standing all over coral at sunset.
