LikedWe had a wonderful five day stay at Treasury Apartments. We came because of the AFL ‘Gathering’ Round. The hotel is magnificently situated in the very heart of Adelaide. It’s such a historic building, beautifully refurbished. Parking was easy (once we found out where the garage was).

DislikedWe were very satisfied.

LikedGreat location with a beautiful courtyard to keep the kids busy. Our rooms were large and clean and had plenty of space for the kids to run around

DislikedWalls are a little thin, our room was located on the ground floor next to a public walkway. At night it got a bit loud with people walking by or sitting on the benches near our room

LikedIt’s a very clean self-contained apartment with facilities such as a kitchen, which was handy over the Easter weekend as nothing much is open in Adelaide city. The city itself is probably not a great place to stay over Easter as it’s so quiet, the best restaurants and shops are shut and it’s like a ghost town, otherwise it’s a good spot near the terrific central market.

DislikedWe got caught out by using Booking.com as you actually need to pay a $50 supplement each night to have a seperate bed for any child under 16. That was an unexpected nasty and quite ridiculous to think a teenager would be sleeping in your bed! We were lucky the hotel was able to find one for us. It was also quite dark in our room and we had to have the lights on when we were in it during the day. There was no cleaning over Easter but we were able to get fresh towels which was fine. The pool towels weren’t topped up regularly enough though so that was a bit inconvenient when you’re dripping wet and there are no towels.

LikedLarge apartment with good facilities & laundry. Good options for food. Nice area for outside food & drinks.

DislikedWasn’t happy that the restaurant closed for the whole of the Easter weekend from Friday to Monday. Had to have room service for evening meal and then got charged extra as holiday! Never experienced that before anywhere we have travelled.
