DislikedThe rooms are quite dated I found the staff quite rude on check in only the bar tender was friendly, but when I asked the staff at reception for a pen they wouldn’t give me one it’s the main reason I choose to stay at this hotel chain they simply said there is one in your room which there was not or I’d not have asked when I asked I was told no also on check in I was made to pre pay for my room even though I like to put my work meals on there and pay one bill this wasn’t ok and then he also took a $100 bond which I found weird I have stayed at the table twice in the past two months this was my 3rd and the Dunedin hotel doesn’t treat me like this Christchurch let the standard down

Well appointed, new hotel near downtown Christchurch. Our room had a view overlooking the cathedral. Very spacious. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud. If we had more time, would have loved to check out the Swedish style sauna. Absolutely would stay again

Stayed as was a branded hotel. Location really good and can walk to the really fabulous food spots. A bit tired overall and the waiting on lifts a bit annoying in the busy times.
