If you’d like to linger longer over lunch indulge at one of the many restaurants including The Lane Vineyard, Uraidla Hotel, Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard, Lost in a Forest and Lot 100. Adelaide Hills – Barossa
Drive through the winding and picturesque Adelaide Hills into the Barossa, one of Australia’s most famous wine regions. Taste premium wines and visit the homes of some of Australia’s best-known labels such as Jacob’s Creek, Seppeltsfield and Henschke. Alternatively, you can attend Barossa Gin School at Durand Distillery where you get to blend your own bottle of Craft Gin or if chocolate is your vice then a visit to the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company is a must! Should your visit coincide with the Barossa Farmer’s Market (Saturday mornings in Angaston), wander the aisles and meet the producers and stock up on gourmet goodies for a picnic or the roadtrip.
With great wine comes great food and the Barossa is home to some of the most famous places to eat including Fino Seppeltsfield, Appellation, fermentAsian and Hentley Farm.
