Whilst it has a great location, the hotel itself could be a whole lot better for the price you pay. Check in took 3 times longer than normal, as reception was training staff (understandable, but step in when the person doesn't remember what to do), The room is a lot smaller than the pictures show, and I had a lovely view of the back alley. It would be nice if you are told the luggage rack is beneath the bed, lucky I checked. And it would also be nice if the iron and steamer iron provided in the room actually work. Valet parking is expensive, but apparently so is any parking in South Beach. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable, and the AC is ducted (not the floor units that are so prevalent in US hotels).
