    Nice Place!

Hotel is as described, and the room size was pretty decent,as is the bathroom. The room and bathroom are from the 80's, but was clean. We are two adults and two children (10 and 3) and we didn't feel like it was over crowded. The place is very conveniently located within a few mins walking distance (right across the street) from the Shinagawa station. Also right across the street are a number of small restaurants with basic Japanese food at very cheap prices. Very friendly and amiable staff. A few restaurants on site. Overall I recommend.

    Good Selection

This hotel is just a three minute walk from the Takanawa exit of the JR Shinagawa Railway station. The lobby is large, well lit and very well staffed. This is a busy hotel but there was always of good number of staff on the desk. The room, with comfortable with twin beds, was a good size and well appointed with a small table and chairs and good lighting. If you want to boil water for a tea or coffee, a small hotplate with metal jug is provided. It is a bit clunky and the sachets of tea/coffee are limited. The bathroom is on the small side but well stocked with the necessaries. The shower is over the bath with a curtain. Breakfast is served in the Garden Restaurant which lived up to its name with three walls of glass looking out on to a garden. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and it is a well organised venue. The breakfasts were good with plenty of variety, especially the Japanese food section. The lobby has an assist desk and the staff there were very helpful and it is well worth seeking their assistance.
