I used to stay in the old Petra Moon Hotel many years ago and on an impromptu trip to Jordan decided to visit Petra again and stay at the same hotel. I had not booked in advance and so was very surprised to see the brand new Petra Moon. The room on the 3rd floor was excellent, definitely worth the price charged; the service from the staff was top-notch, and the free WiFi worked well. The only down comment I can make was the on one of the mornings the breakfast seemed a bit haphazard in the availability of the hot buffet items, and crockery. However that does not detract from this friendly and comfortable hotel which I would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful stay in Petra Moon Hotel. The hotel could not be more conveniently located for getting straight to the Visitors Center and into Petra which is worth its weight in gold after a long tiring day of walking. The staff are amazingly friendly and accommodating, and the owners are extremely knowledgeable and helpful when trying to organised trips anywhere in Jordan. The food is excellent, all freshly prepared, and none of us had any upset stomach despite eating lots of salads etc. The beds were probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and the rooms were nice and spacious.

The hotel is perfect for a visit to Petra. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Although the rooms may seem slightly dated and the windows do not block all the noise from outside, the rooms are spacious and clean and great to spend the night and a few hours (after all, you are supposed to visit Petra and not spend decades in the room). Furthermore, the bed was in good condition and the free mini bar was a nice little treat. Talking about Petra, the location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the ancient city. As a last point, the price is very good as well. I highly recommend the hotel to anybody looking to explore Petra. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving guest the great service that you provide.
