We had to look for a place to stay overnight in Hiroshima because we were late for our Overnight Sleeper Train to Tokyo and were also told we can't stay at the station. We are a big family of seven, four of which are under 9 years old including a 15 month old baby. We didn't have any booking and dropped in the other nearby hotels but staff were not very helpful. I then asked my son, who speaks a little Japanese, to enquire at the front desk of The Grand Sheraton while my family and I waited at the lower lobby because the kids were really tired and sleepy. My son told me how much it was to stay about 4 hours and I thought it's too much for me. Anyway, Mr Takeshi Momo, the Guest Service Supervisor on duty, looked for us and finding my family downstairs offered some drinking water to my wife and kids, and offered us a discounted room so that all of us can rest as we looked really tired, he said. I accepted. He took us to this beautiful room with a view and my kids were finally able to sleep comfortably. We really appreciate Mr. Takeshi Momo - Thank you again! He's a man with a kind heart and is a great asset to Sheraton Grand! Our holiday made even more memorable because of him!
