The rooms were set up very efficiently with the kitchen sink/microwave/frig set up, a desk, foldout couch, and the bed along one wall, while two TVs, a chest of drawers, and the armoire was perched along the other wall. Luckily I did have a shower and tub combination, which I understand is not the norm in this hotel. Check-in was interesting. You go to the front desk and they actually walk you back to a computer at the kiosk you just passed to check you in. Elephant & Castle is the restaurant connected to hotel by a wall and there is an adjoining internal door that you can get into with your room key. It is not fine dining but it is nice to have handy. There is also a Starbucks on the corner of the block as well. Overall, I think the hotel is good enough for a short stay if you don't need ambiance or amenities.
