The hotel is located in the center of Melbourne, near the tram stop and practically at the entrance to the Chinese quarter. There are plenty of places to have lunch and dinner and in the evening it is full of people. The rooms were quite large, the bathroom huge and everything was very clean. The kind and friendly staff. The exceptional breakfast, varies between sweet and savoury, from 10 and praise (cute jams). Thank you so much! See you soon!
Walking distance to everything, near vicinity to Melbourne Stop for the tennis, but moreover decent and near to the CBD and League Square. Rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is inviting and breakfast for 15 dollars a conventional bargain, an awfully great continental breakfast was given. The assistant let us check in early and gave us a late checkout another day. The hotel is a little tired, but the room was well appointed. They have everything you needed.
We were extremely pleased with our choice of hotels. We arrived from the airport 2 hours earlier than the check in time but the friendly staff on the front reception told us that our room was ready and that we could go straight to it. The standard room that we chose had a queen size bed and a single bed. The room was adequate size for the 3 of us and the beds were very comfortable. The room was modern, clean and well maintained. I was so impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. It is centrally located to easily reach all of the tourist and shopping destinations via either the free city tram or the normal tram. We were amazed at how excellent the transport system is in Melbourne. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The Crossley Hotel was a great place with excellent service in the heart of the city of Melbourne. It was very handy to many restaurants, China town, the theater, football stadiums, churches, art and tennis center and great variety of shops. The room was in a good size and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment but was sufficient to set you up for a few hours but I thought it a bit overpriced for what you get.
we throughly enjoyed our stay,we even stayed an extra night than planned,and it wasn’t a problem, we had an issue with a dirty wine glass that was there when we arrived,took it to the main desk, as we were going out,housekeeping came and replaced it plus washed all the other cups,glasses,spoons etc,plus left an apology letter with a bottle of bubbly plus a small box of chocolates for the inconvenience
