    disappointing

    Good location, easy to find, Hotel looked nice on the exterior however the garden could have done with some tlc. Receptionist very friendly and informative. Upon walking to our room i was suprised to see chipped wood and paint work in the corridors and bad odours. We stayed in room 4, which was a room more suited to a guest with disabilities which i was not told at the time of booking. As soon as we walked in the smell hit us, damp or doggie smell which was so strong, the air freshner was not working, there was a bad stain on carpet. Soap dispenser had not been cleaned. I went to put something into the bedside draw and found a pair of boys pants, clearly the room had not been cleaned / checked properly. This made me feel uncomfortable. Swimming pool reception/life guard area so messy, not a good impression for hotel guests. Swimming pool a good size and good temperature. Sauna did not do its job because it just was not hot enough. Could not get Wi-Fi anywhere which was very annoying. Breakfast was well staffed and food was good. i told the receptionist on departure but still was asked to pay full rate, No way worth it.
