The Temo River flows through Bosa. Stroll along the palm-lined promenade and cross Ponte Vecchio, a three-arched bridge built with red-tinted stone. From the southern end you’ll get postcard-perfect views of colourful houses cascading down the hillside. From a distance, the village looks like a Henri Matisse painting.

Walk up to Castello Malaspina and enjoy sweeping views over the village and surrounding countryside. The hilltop stronghold was built in the 12th century and features soaring walls and stone towers. Peer into the chapel to admire a beautiful fresco painted in the 14th century.
