About Dunfanaghy

Once a bustling fishing port, today Dunfanaghy is popular with travellers in search of sun, sand and gorgeous coastal scenery.

Dunfanaghy is surrounded by beautiful Blue Flag beaches. Gold sand and crystalline water make Killahoey Beach a great place to swim, sunbathe and stroll. Hike through grass-covered dunes to reach Tramore Beach, a wild and remote beach set on a crescent-shaped bay.

Stretch your legs on sun-dappled trails and boardwalks in Ards Forest Park. Explore almost 500 hectares of pristine ash, birch and oak woodlands, as well as beautiful beaches. There’s a chance to spot local wildlife, including hedgehogs and foxes.
