Things to do in Fujieda

Browse the invaluable historic display items at the Kuno-zan Toshogu Shrine, including the arms and armours of Tokugawa shoguns. Built in 1617, this national treasure is a must-see for history enthusiasts, while its 1,159 steps lead to stunning views from the top of the mountain.

Escape the city’s bustle with a day at Lake Hamana, where you can soak up its greenery and coastal views. Famous for eel farming, the lake is a great place to enjoy scenic cruises and indulge in crabs and fish caught from the lake at nearby restaurants.
