Featuring a diverse array of marine environments, the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium explores the history of the seas since the Earth’s origins. It’s set across two separate buildings housing marine species-filled tanks and outdoor enclosures where large creatures are showcased.
Begin your visit at the North Building where the evolutionary history of cetaceans is exhibited, with multimedia displays detailing their unique adaptations and incredible intelligence. Get up close to the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium’s mighty killer whale, then see their resident dolphins and belugas in action as they interact with the keepers.

Getting there
The Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium is a short stroll from the Nagoyako subway station, which is around 20 minutes by train from central Nagoya. Chubu Centrair International Airport is 45 minutes away by train.
