Things to do in Ramat Gan
If you’re in Ramat Gan’s downtown area, a stroll around the Diamond District is a must. Gaze up at skyscrapers like the Moshe Aviv Tower and visit the Harry Oppenheimer Diamond Museum to find out more about Israel’s dazzling diamond industry.
There’s plenty to keep culture buffs entertained, with the Tel Aviv Museum of Art showcasing an international collection of contemporary works. The Eretz Israel Museum features some of Israel’s top archaeological finds, while the quirky Maccabi Museum spotlights Jewish sports.
With landscaped gardens, grassy fields and a mini golf course, Yarkon Park is the city’s go-to green space. Just out of town is the Ramat Gan Safari, home to elephants, gorillas, hippos and even a pride of lions.

Getting around Ramat Gan
From Tel Aviv, the easiest way to reach Ramat Gan is by bus. They run throughout the city, stopping at major attractions like Yarkon Park, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Ramat Gan National Stadium. Sde Dov is the closest airport, with the drive to Ramat Gan taking around 25 minutes.
