Surrounded by soaring mountains, Sogndalsfjora is a quintessential Norwegian town. It enjoys a beautiful setting on Sogndalsfjorden, an arm of the spectacular Sognefjorden. The nearby village of Kaupanger is worth a visit and will charm you with a Viking-era church built in the 12th century.

The family-friendly ski resort features 3.5 kilometres of downhill runs, as well as groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The five-kilometre trail up Bjørgahaug peak rewards you with panoramic views over the Sogndalsfjora town centre and cobalt-blue Sogndalsfjorden. Pack lunch and enjoy a picnic with a view.
