Sightsee in Stuttgart. Serving as the capital of Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart is an important manufacturing hub home to the headquarters of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. You can learn about the history of car manufacturing at the museums dedicated to both brands before browsing the impressive art collection at the Staatsgalerie. Visit Hohenzollern Castle. Perched atop a hilltop to the south of Stuttgart is Hohenzollern Castle, a fairytale-like residence constructed in a Gothic Revival style in the 19th century. Join a guided tour to explore its palatial rooms and beautiful chapel, with a significant collection of artwork, silverware and the Prussian king’s crown on display. Open-air concerts and changing exhibitions are regularly held at the castle.

It’s fringed by the medieval city of Konstanz with its decorative cathedral and frescoed town hall, as well as the colourful town of Meersburg. Lake Constance is a popular setting for boat cruises and water sports that include sailing, canoeing and SUPing.
