The Cook's House - a much loved cottage that was traditionally used by the Stations cook to prepare and feed their hard-working and hungry shearers is unrecognisable from its original use! Stepping inside is like putting on your favourite cashmere jumper; instant warmth, style and pleasure. Perfect for 2 couples or 4 guests, a group of friends, a girls weekend or a creative retreat. If only the cook could see it now! Corunna’s signature style is alive and well in this petite version of The Country House and The Homestead. The house is self contained and features 2 king size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with shower and the other, a classic claw-foot bath. Located on Hermitage Road in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine country, these contemporary architectural designed Villas give you full privacy but are only a short stroll to the cellar door and function centre and only minutes from the great restaurants of Pokolbin and surrounds. The Ironbark Villa 5 can accommodate up to 4 guests in two generous king bedrooms and an ultra modern bathroom equipped with a huge shower. The Villa comes complete with all of the comforts of home and features a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine, a lounge area with a large flatscreen TV, dining area and outdoor entertainment area with BBQ. Enjoy a glass of wine while relaxing on the chaise or sitting on your private deck enjoying the sweeping views of the Ironbark Hill Vineyard. A great way to explore the area is by bike on the brand-new cycleway that runs all the way along Hermitage Road, linking more than a dozen wineries along the vine-lined route from the New England Highway in the north to Broke Road in the south. There are several places where you can hire bikes on the Trail and set off on your two-wheel adventure. Please note that this property is NOT pet friendly. Guest Registration: Before guests are able to access the property, we will require an online ID check (scan drivers license) and also a visual Credit Check (scan credit card). The names on the ID and CC must match the name of the guest. The Guest Registration Document that we ask the guest to sign is a PCI compliant, encrypted and totally secure and trusted process, now used by 75,000 guests. This process is consistent and similar to what Hotels require for for ID prior to allowing access to a room. Please also note that we may have installed a Wifi security camera at the front entrance of the property. We are progressively rolling these out through every property in 2021. Kinsale Cottage is a large 3 bedroom country home set on 110 peaceful acres with magnificent views of the Brokenback ranges and right in the heart of Pokolbin. Complete with all the modern luxuries including complimentary Wi-Fi, it is the perfect place to get away from it all or take in some of the many activities that the area has to offer. Kinsale Cottage has everything. There is a grand 10-seat dining table and a kitchen full of Smeg appliances for your holiday master chef creations and a Vittoria Espressotoria coffee machine. Kinsale has two large living areas, both equipped with flat-screen TVs and DVDs so the kids can have their own retreat while the grown-ups converse over local wine and cheese before the gas-log fire. Although in federation style, the living area of the cottage is open and flows from the dining room to the sitting room. These areas have also been designed so that they can be closed off to provide privacy. The cottage has one King bedroom with ensuite and two Queen bedrooms with a spacious main bathroom. There is also a double fold out sofa bed in the private sitting room allowing very comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests. The living areas provide DVD/Foxtel app/Netflix/Flat screen TVs and surround sound for your enjoyment. There is also two large verandahs to take in the magnificent views. For those staying for an extended period there is a fully equipped laundry. Please note that this property is NOT pet friendly.
