FEES The base tariff includes 4 people; extra guests are charged an additional fee per person, per night. Electric car charging is $20 per use, payable separately after booking. ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING FEE Please advise if you intend to use the house electricity for charging your electric car. There is a fee of $20 per charge, which is charged separately. Kindly inform us of the number of times you plan to charge your car during your stay. ⁠ There is no dedicated EV port at the property. Guests will need to bring their own extension lead and EV-compatible charging cable to connect to the propertys electricity supply. CLEANING FEE The cleaning fee reflects the actual cost of professional cleaning and linen hire for each booking. FIREWOOD SEASON 1st May - 30th September. During firewood season, a starter pack of firewood, kindling, firelighters, and matches is provided for your first night. More firewood and supplies can be purchased locally from petrol stations. TELEVISION Please note that poor weather conditions may affect live free-to-air channels. We cannot guarantee a consistent television signal. On-demand channels and streaming apps are available through the Smart TV using your accounts. 9PM OUTDOOR NOISE RESTRICTION CURFEW For the comfort of our neighbours, please adhere to a noise curfew from 9pm to 8am in all outdoor areas. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a quiet environment during these hours. IN-HOUSE GUESTS ONLY This property is exclusively for registered guests. It cannot be used for gatherings or events, and no additional visitors are allowed without permission. NO PARTY OR NOISE DISRUPTION POLICY We enforce a strict no-party and no-noise disruption policy. As this is a quiet residential area, any breach will result in immediate eviction without a refund. PAYMENT POLICY Deposit: A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm bookings made more than 30 days before the arrival date. Balance Security Bond: The remaining balance and the refundable security bond must be paid 30 days before the arrival date. Full Payment: For bookings made within 30 days of the arrival date, full payment and the refundable security bond are required at the time of booking. Transaction Fee: A non-refundable 2.9% Stripe transaction fee applies to all payments, including the bond. Statement: Payments will appear as ACCOMMODATE BLUE MOUNT LENNOX HEAD on your bank statement. Agreement: By making payments, you agree to our terms and conditions. Bond Refund: Bond refunds are processed 7 business days after check-out and may take 5-10 days to appear in your bank account. CANCELLATION POLICY Standard Cancellations: Cancellations made within 30 days before arrival are non-refundable. Cancellations made 31 days or more before arrival incur a non-refundable AU$5.00 channel manager fee. Date Transfers: Changes to booking dates are not permitted within 30 days of the arrival date. Our mountains home is nestled high in the tree tops. Gorgeous views, and lots of bird life. Spacious, with a distinctive mountains feel. You'll relax in our totally private, natural setting, and large, peaceful gardens and backyard. All just a short walk from Katoomba Street, or a short drive to Leura, the Three Sisters and other beautiful parts of the Blue Mountains National Park. The house is perfect for your Mountains getaway. Totally private, spacious with peaceful views from the large outdoor deck (with firepit) and three balconies. We are child and pet friendly! The two living spaces and large entertainers kitchen provides you with plenty of room to relax and unwind. The walk up the driveway and two flights of stairs is worth the trip as you arrive at the large front deck nestled in the trees. There is lots of room for the kids to run around both in and outside the house. Everything in the house connects beautifully. The kitchen and dining room open up to the back deck nestled next to the Bali inspired garden. The adjacent block is perfect for the kids or dog to run around in, or simply to relax amongst the trees. Please note that the only access to our treetop house is via two flights of stairs and our driveway (Please see pictures). Not recommended for people with mobility constraints. THE BEDROOMS - Bedroom one is spacious and fully private on its own upper level with large inbuilt wardrobe, a lounge, private balcony and adjacent bathroom. You have a comfortable queen bed and queen air mattress here. - Bedroom two is very roomy with a queen size bed, chaise lounge, flat screen tv with chromecast, desk and looks out on the garden - Bedroom three has a double bed, floor mattress, and shared balcony with Bedroom four. - Bedroom four has a double bunk bed with single on top, shared balcony and large wardrobe space. - Second loungeroom can be turned into a fifth bedroom with its queen koala sofa bed. If you find the driveway difficult, there is plenty of free parking on nearby streets. We welcome pets. The large front deck is fenced and so is the backyard bbq area. Please note that the house has a bush like setting. It is surrounded by beautiful trees so there are leaves and branches that drop on the decks, and there can be insects and spider webs.

The Neighborhood: Sidney’s Retreat is located in historic Lurline Street, Katoomba in the centre of the World Heritage region of the Blue mountains, a scenic 1 1/2 hours drive from Sydney. This beautiful self-catering cottage is a convenient 2 minute walk into Katoomba’s interesting Art Deco main street for shopping and restaurants and a 5 minute stroll to the rail station. A leisurely stroll down Lurline Street takes you past cafes, galleries and craft centres to the amazing sight of the Three Sisters on the edge of the Katoomba Escarpment. Getting Around: There is a train station at Katoomba only a 5 min walk from the house down lurline st. There are buses in Katoomba st, Lurline st and surrounding suburbs in easy walking distance from the cottage. There is parking on Lurline and Leichhart Streets, though not directly outside the house. Sydney is a 1 1/2 hour drive. Other Things to Note: We do not have onsite parking, the best place to park is at the corner of Leichhardt and Lurline st at the top of Leichhardt St facing down the hill. We strongly recommend anyone with mobility issues does not stay with us as we have a set of stairs down from the road to the front door. Interaction with Guests: This is non hosted accommodation, so you will not see anyone during your stay. However, if you do need help we are only a phone call away.
